Stop the closure of YiSSA Housing – Action outside National Homelessness Conference in Darwin

Ironically, the National Homelessness Conference is being held in Darwin next week. The same week the NT Government plans to close YiSSA and move vulnerable residents 100km away to Batchelor to a facility that is not yet ready, nor has service provision contracts established. See this article about the lack of facilities and plan for dialysis patients.

Join us for a peaceful demonstration outside the conference to demand an end to the plans to close YiSSA
We hope conference delegates will also join us in taking a strong stand against the closure of YiSSA.
