A new, shaded Nature-based Playground for Anstead Reserve Park

Anstead Bushland Park
While the Anstead Reserve Park has lovely bushland and open spaces, it is lacking a playground for young families to make the most out of the existing gazebo and BBQ facilities. Anstead Reserve Park is a natural gathering point; its near to the Anstead Reserve Cafe (with recently removed playground), a drop off point for school buses, and a parking spot for those going for bushwalks, walking dogs and horses. Adding a nature-based playground would make better use of the facilities and create a beautiful community gathering point that is sorely lacking in the area.

Why is this important?

Anstead, Moggill and Bellbowrie are welcoming more young families than ever. However, the infrastructure and facilities available aren't always suitable or convenient to cater to, not just young children, but the community around them. Anstead Reserve Park already has lovely BBQ areas and open spaces but is rarely utilised. Bringing in a beautiful, shaded, nature-based playground would create an inclusive community gathering point for all to enjoy.
