Ban “No-fault” Evictions in Western Australia

WA is the only state in Australia that still legally allows tenants to be evicted for no reason. That is the landlord can give a notice to vacate at the end of a lease or during periodic tenancy without cause. They can then re-advertise the property immediately with no penalty & raise the rent. WA has the least protections in the country for tenants, who are currently facing high rents, low vacancy rates, both threatened and actual homelessness and constantly moving due to these laws. Please support me in campaigning to change these laws, starting with banning “no-fault” or “no-grounds” evictions.
