Cancel Craig Silvey novels in schools
Dear John-Paul Langbroek,
Considering the magnitude of the child sexual exploitation charges that have come up against Craig Silvey recently, I believe that all of his novels be removed from schools within Queensland. His charges are toward children and I wholeheartedly believe that due to this alone, his novels should not be placed in education spaces where the very children he has exploited would be subject to them. His writings should not be read by the age range of his victims in his charges or any children from 5-17 years of age. What a disgrace to allow his novels to make money from an education system that teaches children that he so grossly does not respect the safety of.

Why is this important?
Stop Craig Silvey from profiting from the children he so heinously exploited when he downloaded and distributed child sexual abuse content. Stop him from piggy backing off the backs of his victims. To allow him to continue to have a career aimed toward children is abhorrent.
