To: All voting age citizens of Australia
'DIRECT DEMOCRACY PARTY' - achieved through 'a co-operative of independent representatives'.
Dear GetUp! or The Australia Institute, or any organisation interested in Australia's democracy,
At this point we must accept the reality that NO current political party in Australia is going to alter their defiance of majority public opinion. It is now extremely obvious they have a loyalty to 'something' that is the opposite to the sovereign advancement of our nation. Your petitions of, and exposing of, obscenely disadvantageous policies towards Australia's advancement are falling on deaf ears.
One of your organisations, or working in collaboration, are perhaps the only chance Australia has of reclaiming our democracy. It is also very obvious that our independent representatives are the ONLY politicians showing common sense objection to government policy decisions that are ridiculously biased against sovereign advancement and instead favouring corporations profit.
Our concept of 'party affiliated' representative government has been corrupted beyond repair. But at the same time Australians 'fear' the unknown qualities and direction of independent representatives.
The answer to this is a form of 'DIRECT DEMOCRACY' using a 'co-operative alliance of independent representatives' party. We can do this now using 2 part verification to achieve a 'majority opinion' guided decision making process. The 'direct democracy' party you establish would form chapters in every electorate in Australia. Normal 'mums and dads' could run to be the chosen representative using technology to vote in the most popular choice, working on a 2 or 3 round system of removing the 'low vote' candidates until majority decisions on the final choice. The 'party policy' would be that the candidate would have to, by Constitution, only vote in parliament as per majority decisions of the constituents of that electorate. (all persons on the electoral roll of that electorate may join the 'direct democracy' party even after the election to 'have their say' on issues.
This is going to take a lot of organisation and movement to establish a new political party like this, (and ongoing organisation overseeing). Australia needs someone like The Australia Institute or GetUp!, or a group of independent organisations to collaborate on this project. I would like to start a petition on this idea, to show the groundswell of support you would find Australians would have. Australians can not trust the current representatives as their loyalty is to 'the party'. I truly believe a 'Direct Democracy' party is our only option left available to save Australia's democracy.

Why is this important?
Representative politics has been bastardized by 'party affiliation' - this is beyond repair in Australia. (perhaps in every western demacracy worldwide).
Our only remaining solution is a form of 'direct democracy' using modern technology and 'an alliance of independent candidates' party that will reflect the majority decisions of the constituents of each particular electorate on all issues.
