Re: DA eDA0396/26 — 22–24 Wolseley Road, Lindfield NSW 2070
I petition as a local resident to object to two significant proposed developments (DA eDA0358/26 and DA eDA0396/26) on heritage and community grounds.
The proposed development would demolish five contributory dwellings, replaced with eight‑storey (42 units) and eleven-storey (40units) buildings, which would substantially change the local character, diminish the sense of place, and set an undesirable precedent for further loss of heritage fabric across the Conservation Area.
The very same Statement of Heritage Impact identifies these three dwellings as forming part of the Wolseley Road Conservation Area. These houses and their garden settings collectively express the historic “Heart of Lindfield” subdivision and the garden‑suburb character that defines our community.
Demolition of intact contributory fabric would cause irreversible harm to the precinct’s heritage significance and streetscape rhythm.
I request the consent authority refuse this DA in its current form

Why is this important?
The residents of Lindfield deserve to protect the very beauty and historical significance their area symbolises for their community.
