Stop the vehicles which have their exhaust system modified to create excessive noise!
To the EPA authorities dealing with excessive noise and the implementation of appropriate systems to control it especially in residential environments.
The excessive noises deliberately created by some of vehicle owners through modifications made to the exhaust systems of their vehicles not only affects our peaceful living environments but endangers the health and safety of both Australian people and our native animals in many physical and psychological ways as well as its affects on other drivers on the roads which can cause them losing control and causing vital accidents. We the undersigned of this petition wish to as you to consider the serious consequences that these modified vehicles can cause through their modifications made to the exhaust system of their vehicles and set the appropriate rules and regulations to ensure any such none complying vehicles will be stopped with their registrations cancelled until they are rectified and their compliance certificates are presented.
