Woodlea palmers medical centre appointments issue
We are calling on Palmer’s Medical Centre in Woodlea to improve access to GP appointments for our growing community. Residents are regularly finding it difficult to secure timely appointments, with waiting lists often extending 2–3 days and very limited weekend availability. We are asking for more same-day and next-day appointments, as well as regular weekend services, so local families can access essential healthcare when they need it.
Why is this important?
Woodlea is a rapidly growing community with many families, children and working residents who rely on local healthcare. When GP appointments are difficult to access or require waiting several days, it can be challenging to receive timely medical care, especially when someone is unwell or needs urgent advice. Better weekday and weekend appointment availability would make a significant difference to the health and wellbeing of our local community.
